I managed to work it out. Make some key points, 'p' them into a
polygon, triangulate, extrude (3 extra copyies), then finally
metaform. Interesting results! The problem is that things such as the
tyre holes become smoothed too, but it didn't seem to work if I only
selected the body without the tyre holes.
LightWave problems:
1. Why can't I load in a Brilliance IFF as an image? Argh.
2. If you click on "replace" in the image screen, and select
something which LW doesn't like, then the old one suddenly
dissapears. Might be best to have it return if the replacement
failed.
